Natasha Reynolds grew up in the slums of Big City. Her parents poor immigrants. Reynolds' mother died at a young age. Soon after, Reynolds, her father and sister were kidnapped by the Deimos cartel and sold into slavery (see Los Muertos). Reynolds and her sister eventually ended up in Tibet. She never saw her father again as he was killed trying to escape a drug plantation in Columbia.
Reynolds herself was able to escape the Tibetan compound she was held in and was rescued by Buddhist monks. Reynolds lived among the monks for an unknown amount of time. It is here where it is believed she learned martial arts and gymnastics. Reynolds ultimately located her sister and rescued her from the drug cartel. Reynolds' sister had suffered severe physical and psychological trauma at the hands of her captors.
Upon returning to the states Reynolds took upon the mantel of a costumed vigilante and broke into modeling as her cover. It is believed Reynolds used contacts created while working as a fashion model in order to break up drug and prostitution rings all over the country.
Around 1973 (exact date unknown) Reynolds was approached by Lawrence Case (Code Name: Dead to Rights). Case was forming an organization of vigilantes and recruited Reynolds.
In 1984 following the conclusion of the Ozuma Isle Incident (see War of the Immortals), Reynolds departed from the vigilante organization. 1986 following the Booyaka Act, Reynolds revealed her true identity to the public and immediately capitalized on the publicity, building a fashion, marketing and private security business empire Hero Inc.
